On April 2, 2022, a new piece of Ajtony Csaba was premiered by the Budapest Strings, entitled Cantabile.
The concerto has in the focus a new instrument, a glissonic tarogato (glissotar), which was played on by its inventor, Dániel Váczi. More about this very special invention is available in this short film. The title is Italian and means 'singable, songlike'.
This is the first step of the cooperation between Csaba and Dániel to bring the instruments to classical music halls around the world.
